In operating a funeral parlor, you need to have at least a land area of 30 sqm. It will have at least 2 rooms, an embalming area and a receiving area. One car is enough and at least 1 staff.
There are categories of funeral service operation. (what are categories). The Department of Health is doing extensive research implementing regulations within the category. If you are still renting a place, the minimum capital requirement will run for about 500k. That will cover already the 1 embalming table, 1 embalming kit, the initial rent, service vehicle, service equipments and furnitures.
For the technical requirement in the operation, 1 licensed embalmer and 2 undertakers/drivers in needed. To get a licensed for the embalmer, one must apply to the DOH. The department will provide forms for the application process. There are school who are accredited where you can enroll embalming courses and also trainings and seminars.
